A little about Jaime:
I have been handling dogs in conformation for 10 years. It all started when I took a friends Australian Shepherd into a conformation class, and I haven't looked back since. I have been involved with many dog sports from agility to obedience to tracking and flyball. In conformation, I have shown a large number of the breeds from all 7 groups. I have pointed and finished many breeds, as well as placing in the group ring.  I have worked for 2.5years for professional handler, Beth Hilborn, PHA,  and she has taught me some invaluable skills as a handler. I have also had my own grooming shop for 4 years and have worked as a groomer for a total of 8 years. I have taught obedience, agility and conformation classes for many years. I bred Fawn and Brindle Great Danes and Smooth Fox Terriers. In 2006 with limited showing my home bred Smooth Fox Terrier Vodka (Am.Can.Ch InStyle’s Absolute) was #2 Smooth Fox Terrier in Canada. I love working with young and 'difficult' dogs, as well as seasoned pros, and often when I did junior handling I would not take the push-button dogs in, but the ones that made me work and kept me on my toes ( maybe that’s why I have terriers!)

Jaime’s Home:
At home in Debden  ( 1hr NW of Prince Albert) we have 160 acres. We have a large fenced off paddock ( 120ft x 100ft) as well as a smaller one in the back (20ft x 40ft) that has gravel to keep the dogs clean and to tighten up their feet.  This summer we have plans to build 2 more paddocks ( one 60x60 and the other 100x100). We go on at least 2 walks per day around our property and they can be individual walks or walks with the pack depending on your dog.  Each dog gets exercised depending on their needs and energy levels. Every day each dog gets worked with on an individual basis, and we work on whatever they need. For example, leash work, distraction training, hand stacks, free stacks, table stacks and socialization. The dogs are in the house spending time with us. Each dog is groomed and/or bathed on a regular basis. At night each dog goes to bed in their kennel for their own private and relaxation time. We stick to as close as your feeding schedule as possible, feeding once or twice a day depending on your wants.

Jaime's Pack:
The human side of things has myself Jaime, and my husband Daniel, who is currently enrolled in a Resource and Environmental law program.  I work at a local vet clinic part time as a Vet Tech, and am really enjoying all the unique learning opportunities this is giving me.

In the Great Dane domain we have: Envy a retired group placing brindle Canadian champion who is 4 years old and from my first Great Dane litter. Ripley, a retired brindle 3 year old, who loves nothing more then to race around the yard, and is currently learning obedience routines with Dan. And our newest star Glory she is a fawn Great Dane who just turned a year and will be hitting the rings this spring in all her natural eared Glory.

Terrier Time: We have Tizer who is a retired 5 year old Smooth Fox Terrier who was a multi group placing Champion in her show days. Now she is gearing up for rally-o and agility. She already has some qualifying runs in agility. Darcy, our handsome New Zealand import who finished his championship quickly and has one US major Darcy will be 5 soon. Scissors a beautiful girl who hates showing, but loves to work in other avenues is starting to work on her obedience titles watch for her this fall. Vodka, the current star at InStyle, he has finished both his  Canadian and American championship titles, and will be shown at select shows while starting agility training the spring. Our next up and comer is Fatal who is a beautiful Tan and White girl who has stood out from day one and is quickly earning points towards her championship.  And the 2 newest members are Everest and Agent, both mischievous lil monsters who love nothing more then a good snuggle on the couch. They are starting their show training and both did fantastically at their first shows.

Roman and Ryder our 2 German Shepherds who patrol our yard while the Terriers play. They have scared away a few coyotes and are much loved members of our pack. Both are extremely gentle with all dogs they met, acting like dog nannies.

Silas, our oddball, he is a Basenji who lives his life in luxury, watching his world from the couch, lounging in the sun and rooing at the Danes.

And yes we have a ‘few’ dogs, but all of our dogs get daily work ( be it in agility, obedience or conformation) and they all get bed time, when they get to sleep either on the floor in their beds or on the bed snuggled up and close to their  humans. Our dogs are very much a part of our family, and we would love to have your dog visit. Our dogs are all exercised on a very regular basis ( at least 2 good walks/day) and they each get to either pull a weighted sled ( on wheels in the summer) or carry a backpack. I truly believe that dogs - all dogs no matter the breed - are happiest when they have healthy exercise and a job to do. Our dogs love to see the harness pulled out, or the backpack. And I guarantee yours will too!
